Who we are
Tapsora is operated by Tapsora Technologies, a sole proprietorship owned by Aftab Ahmed, registered as a micro enterprise under Udyam (Reg. No. UDYAM-UP-50-0287166) with its registered office at B-3, Capital Market, Kursi Road, Dasauli, Bakshi Ka Talab, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226026. In these terms, “Tapsora”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Tapsora Technologies.
“You” means the person or business using the platform — either a restaurant (a merchant subscribing to our software) or a diner (a customer ordering from a restaurant through it).
What the service is
Tapsora is subscription software for restaurants: a branded online-ordering storefront (delivery and takeaway), QR-based dine-in ordering, point-of-sale and billing tools, kitchen displays, delivery management with the restaurant’s own riders, QR/NFC sticker campaigns, and analytics.
We charge restaurants a flat monthly or annual subscription — we do not take a commission on food orders. Plans, prices and inclusions are listed on our pricing page and may include a free trial. Certain plans pass a small, clearly-disclosed platform fee (currently ₹9) to the diner on online delivery orders only.
Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to create an account.
- Information you give us (business name, contact details, licences such as FSSAI/GST where applicable) must be accurate and kept current.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything done under your account, including by staff you invite. Tell us immediately at aftabahmed116@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or refuse accounts that break these terms or the law.
Restaurants, diners & Tapsora — who is responsible for what
Tapsora is a technology provider. Every restaurant on the platform is an independent business. When a diner places an order, the contract for that food — its preparation, quality, safety, packaging, pricing, fulfilment and delivery — is between the diner and the restaurant.
- Restaurants are responsible for their menus and prices, food safety and FSSAI compliance, their own taxes and invoices, honouring orders, and their riders’ conduct.
- Diners are responsible for accurate delivery details and lawful use of the service.
- Tapsora is responsible for providing the software reliably and handling data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Payments & billing
- Subscription fees are payable to Tapsora Technologies in INR, in advance, via RBI-authorised payment gateways (such as PhonePe or Razorpay). We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials — the gateway processes them.
- All prices are final prices in INR. Tapsora Technologies is currently not registered under GST, so no GST is added or collected on subscription fees.
- Subscriptions renew for the same period unless cancelled before renewal. If a renewal payment fails, we’ll notify you and may suspend the service until it’s settled.
- We may change plan prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
- Diner payments for food go to the restaurant — through the restaurant’s own payment gateway or UPI, or as cash on delivery. Tapsora does not hold or settle diners’ money.

Acceptable use
You agree not to use Tapsora to:
- sell anything illegal, or anything requiring licences you don’t hold (including alcohol or tobacco where not permitted);
- mislead customers — fake listings, false prices, deceptive offers or manufactured reviews;
- send spam or messages that violate TRAI/DLT rules;
- probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or resell the platform, or bypass its security or rate limits;
- upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, with notice where practicable.
Your content & our IP
- Yours stays yours. Restaurants own their menus, brand names, logos, photos and customer relationships. You give us a licence to host and display that content solely to run the service for you.
- Ours stays ours. The Tapsora software, design, and brand are the property of Tapsora Technologies. Your subscription grants use, not ownership.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the product without obligation.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Tapsora available around the clock, and parts of the product are designed to keep working through internet outages. Still, software is software: we may need maintenance windows, and we can’t promise uninterrupted, error-free operation. Where planned maintenance may affect you, we’ll try to give advance notice.
Cancellation & termination
- You can cancel your subscription any time from the dashboard; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, unlawful activity, or non-payment — with notice where practicable.
- After termination you have 30 days to request an export of your data (menus, orders, customers), after which we may delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows: Tapsora is provided “as is”, and our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, business interruption), or for the acts of restaurants, diners, riders, payment gateways, courier or telecom providers.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law, disputes & changes
- These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Before going to court, write to us — most issues get resolved through our grievance process first.
- We may update these terms; material changes get at least 15 days’ notice by email or dashboard notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
